The first:
NEW DELHI (AP) The prime minister's office says India's foreign minister has been stripped of his post over his alleged role in the oil-for-food controversy.I think we'll be seeing more and more of this...assuming of course, the countries where officials were involved in this scheme are actually motivated by doing the right thing.
And the second:
WASHINGTON (AP) - The Supreme Court has agreed to consider a challenge to the Bush administration's military tribunals for foreign terror suspects, a major test of government wartime powers. This one should be interesting. I suspect that SCOTUS will find no reason to interfere with what the executive branch is doing in its prosecution of the War on Terror.
