Viking Spirit, a member of the SOB Alliance, has a post on Paul Hackett's latest slander against Bush in a GQ interview.
“Bush didn’t serve his country during the defining war of his generation. That makes him a chicken hawk. He’s been less than forthright about his service, which in my book makes him dishonest. And he’s mentally lazy at best. He lacks any interest in inquiry, as reflected by the fact that he signs off on whatever flavor of the day to explain why we’re in Iraq...
Bush is a fraud. He wants to be perceived as a macho guy, but he didn’t have the stones to serve in his generation’s war. He didn’t have the balls to do it. Point f*!king blank. He didn’t have the balls. Because he wanted to drink alcohol and snort cocaine and party. Well, I didn’t do that.”
Just the type of guy to lift the level of discourse in the Senate and revive comity and polite debate over issues, not slander....JUST KIDDING!
Hackett is a clown. You want to talk about lying? Why isn't Hack back in Iraq? He said he would go if he lost to Schmidt...
Mentally lazy? Hack, maybe in the course of seeking to fool voters in the 2nd district you didn't get the memo: Bush released his forms, unlike John Kerry. Also, that CBS story, those documents were phony and inauthentic. Maybe you missed that.
And Paul, the coke meme again? Geez, come on now. And don't even talk about drinking. My sources tell me you pound the keggers yourself. This man has admitted problems and sought spiritual help. He hasn't run from them. He faced his demons. Of course, you keep throwing stones. But, Paul, what would you do?
And if you hate chicken hawks, surely you hate Chuck Schumer, who voted for the war, surely you hate Bubba Clinton, who didn't serve in his generation's seminal war.
Come on Paul, this is way too easy.
