I ask: what about yourselves? Did Bush and Blair hold guns to your head and say, get over there and protest? Did anyone force you to go out and about, seeking to "adopt an insurgent" (they did this, look on their website, they had an adopt an insurgent campaign)?
Jesus was about helping others, but He was also about taking responsibility for one's own decisions...Maybe you all should, too....

Uh....hello! Remember Saddam? Now that was oppression. Yep, having people vote in real elections, that is oppression. Closing the rape rooms, that is real oppression. Eliminating the daily threat of being raped by Saddam's cronies, that is real oppression. For the love of all things, would you people buy a fragging clue?!?
