Bill Pierce is "Highly Qualified"

...Mike DeWine is NOT.

The Clermont County Republican Party had their endorsement session last night and Mike DeWine was denied an important endorsement. In fact, Bill Pierce just missed getting the endorsement by just a few votes. DeWine failed to garner enough votes to even rate "highly qualified" by the county party.

What does this mean?

First, it means that polling firms still have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to Ohio. Survey USA has DeWine's job approval rate seriously inflated.

Second, and more importantly, it means that DeWine just may not be the best candidate for the race. Rassmussen has DeWine neck and neck with Hackett and Brown. But DeWine may have a more serious problem than that: the primary.
