We've been adding fresh voices to the Southern Ohio Blogger Alliance lately and I think it is time to talk about what the "next level" is for the group.
My initial plan for the alliance was to start locally and let it grow naturally in to what fellow Ohio blogger Lincoln Logs calls a "syndicate".
We have eight active blogs (and a ninth that is in retirement) that are mostly local to greater Cincinnati. The last two additions have been greater Dayton-area blogs. I'd like to see us add a few more from the Dayton market in the coming months, so if anybody has any suggestions on who to approach, feel free to let me know.
Ideally, I'd like to see the alliance grow to the point where we'll have to change the name to reflect that we have become a state-wide organization.
There are some challenges...that's why I've taken the approach of growing the local organization first. We'll need to have a strong foundation and I think we have it.
I'd appreciate any input that anybody might have on what to do next and where you think we should go next...
