1:30PM Update
Mark Steyn says it best (as usual):As for Pat Robertson, he sounds as nutty as these Imams, who say it's the will of God. I don't subscribe to this equivalence between, you know, Wahabi Imams and Christian fundamentalists. But I'm prepared to make an exception for Pat Robertson.Me too...
Mark's Remarks
I am with Mark Steyn on this one. I tihnk Pat Robertson is a disgrace to Christianity, to Evangelicals, to Conservatives, and to Americans. He continually makes these bigoted, ill-advised, and un-Christian like statements. You know, we should make that deal with the libs. We will ignore their idiot rhyming reverends like JJ the Jet Plane Baby Machine and Al Sharpton, if they ignore the Right's idiots like Robertson.
You know, why is it this gets so much press but the daily comments coming from Farakhan and Sharpton and even Jackson get little press? Just because Robertson claims he is close to the President does not mean he is. Just because he claims to be an evangelical does not make him so. He does not speak for the majority of Christians, Conservatives, Evangelicals; so why make this such a big deal, stupid as it is?
