...in the Right Angle Blog survey/poll. Bill Pierce handily beat Mike DeWine.
Of course, we all know how many in the SOB Alliance feel about polls. Many are conducted rather shadily (the latest Dispatch poll is a case in point--it was a mail-in survey where envelopes were prelabelled as conservative or not, many threw it away, etc.)
However, this shows that people on the Internet are paying attention, and they like Bill Pierce. They don't want DeWine, and they are obviously not impressed with Mr. Charisma, that other guy who claimed the 2nd district was his strongest area of support, but yet didn't know about an endorsement meeting and actually had to ask others when it was, from a county in the 2nd district. So much for him, yet another untruth of his exposed.
Further proof that if the Carpetbagger honored his word, which he promised not once but twice, on at least two different occaisons, to drop out, Pierce would run away with the nomination. However, he appears to be staying in. The question remains: is it just the hubrus of his own ego, or is there something more sinister behind it?
DISCLOSURE: Matthew Hurley, contributor to WMD, is also the blog administrator for Pierce for Senate. He HAD NOTHING to do with this post.
