i am totally amazed by the how stupid one of the top democratic candidate in the OH-18 primary is. the winner of this race will challenge bob ney who is one of hte most corrupt POS's in congress. ney has so much baggage right now the democrats actually have a chance to win in that republican leaning district. BUT NO... joe sulzer has to be maybe the dumbest candidate i have ever seen.
...Joe Sulzer (democratic congressional candidate) and Ohio Democratic Party Chairman Chris Redfern called for Bob Ney to immediately resign from the U.S. House if his name is so much as whispered by corrupt lobbyist and convicted felon, Jack Abramoff.
Read the dang thing for yourself here.
no wonder democrats in ohio can't win anything...

look, i dont live in ohio. i couldnt even point out this district on a map. but i know just like tom delay that bob ney can be knocked out.
just like i hope to god delay's name is on the ballot this november i hope to god ney's name is on the ballot but obvious joe sulzer does not want the democrats to win this district. and what the heck kind of idiot is the state party chair chris redfern? i seriously question this guy's ability to lead when he wants tarnished republicans to resign so they can be replaced with republicans that will get reelected. i suppose he thinks bob taft should resign as governor so the democrats can lose that race, too. how much are the republicans paying these people?
Nick Lampson has never called for delay to resign. why? because it is stupid to do so.
al dios agradezco vivo en Nueva York.
It is almost as if there is a Rovian plot (tm) to re-elect Congressman Ney.
I love how this guy calls Chris Redfern an idiot...that's just classic.
Let me explain why Redfern had to call for Ney's resignation...because he did for a number of reasons:
1) Redfern is afraid of Ney. Ney is an incumbent and that still means something in this race.
2) Redfern has to make the race be about something other than the so-called "Culture of Corruption". Why? Because when you really examine the "Culture of Curruption", you find out that there are more Democrats in trouble than Republicans.
3) Alternatively, Redfern has to continue to mention Ney's trouble in the event that Ney gets indicted and the ODP decides they want to try to take advantage of the situation. Hasn't worked against Tom DeLay yet, but we'll see how this turns out.
4) Redfern and the Ohio Democratic Party have no ideas...this is all they have.
