Scotty Gone

AP News Alert:
WASHINGTON (AP) White House Scott McClellan said Wednesday he is resigning.
I hope this is true, Scotty has been a horrible spokesman for the White House.

Update

Apparently, Tony Snow is in the running... An inspired choice if I ever heard one.

Another Update

Two other names being thrown around are Victoria Clarke (a horrible choice if you ask me) and Dan Senor (whom I don't remember, but Lincoln Logs seems to favor).

Clarke would be awful. I didn't care for her when she was at the defense department and I can't imagine hers being the "face of the White House"...

Senor, apparently, was a coalition spokesman shortly after the Iraq invasion.

Mark's Remarks

I fully support either Tony Snow or Dan Senor. If the President is serious about getting a stronger voice, he should draft Ari back. However, I think Snow would be the inspired choice. Senor has a good record, but Tony Snow would get the most publicity. He would truly get the media buzzing, and I believe that he would also know when to tell the MSM to shut up, that the interview is over. Tony for Press Secretary, if Ari doesn't want it back.
