Bubba Shifts Again on Climate Change, Stumping for Gore?

It seems Bubba has regained some love for his former robotic treehugger flunky, Al Gore. Bubba is out there preaching the gospel of global warming, or global cooling, or climate change, or whatever the Left is calling their THEORY today. First, in a speech in Glasgow, Scotland, here is what Bubba said:
"The most profound security threat we face today is global warming," he said. "There may be other terrorist acts, and some of those acts may involve small-scale biological chemical or nuclear attacks."

"There has never been a nation destroyed by terrorism alone and it's not about to start now.

"But I think this climate change has the capacity to change the way all of us live on earth."

And, in an address to the University of Texas LBJ Center Graduates:
Climate change is more remote than terror but a more profound threat to the future of the children and the grandchildren and the great-grandchildren I hope all of you have," Clinton said.

What Bubba failed to mention is that it was he, not George W. Bush, who refused to sign Kyoto first. He failed to mention that his position on this issue has flipped and flopped over the years.

However, what I find interesting is the thought itself. No nation has been wiped out by terrorism, nothing but global warming can remove the preconditions of civilized society? Excuse me? Park a nuke in New York and see what happens to civilized society. You want an example of a nation destroyed by terror? Lebanon!

This man is a lunatic. First of all, again, the issue is not cut and dried. While there is evidence that ice is melting, there is no direct, 100% conclusive evidence that WE are the ones doing it. Also, there have been times when the temperature of the earth has gone up and down over THOUSANDS OF YEARS. I fail to see how something that would take a few hundred years is a more dire threat than terrorism.

Let's do the math, Bubba: a terrorist takes out 500 of those graduates. They have no grandchildren that they otherwise would have had. Come on now, Bubs. I mean, you look bad on this issue as well. The more you open your mouth on any issu other than the value of cigars as sex toys, the more your presidency gets scrutinized. And the more it gets scrutinized, the more it is revealed to be a do-nothing, pass the buck, let's not tackle big issues joke of an administration! You passed the buck on global warming/cooling/climate change/whatever. You passed the buck on terrorism. You failed the nation, bubba. Get over it. Live with your shame.
