Sen. Mike DeWine appeared on the Bill Cunningham show today. In this clip, Willie questions the senator on the issue of immigration. The thing that sticks out, at least to me, is that DeWine seems to mention a wall or fence only as an afterthought. Senator, that wall is a requirement not an option. There is an entertaining segment where Willie mentions the apparent difference in opinion between DeWine and my congressman, Majority Leader John Boehner, on the seante bill. Willie asks if deWine would be willing to bet one of his wife's pies on the likelihood of the President being able to sign an immigration bill by November. DeWine didn't take the bet. Of course, he's part of the problem not the solution because like all senators compromise means "my way or the highway." Boehner's position is a winner; DeWine should get on board if he's smart.
