The Center for Individual Liberty's Lunchtime Liberty Update points out this reminder that Kofi is on his way out and that picking his replacement will be an exercise in general stupidy that we have come to expect from organizations like the UN.The US recommends that the UN dispense with "tradition" and pick the next Secretary General from eastern Europe. China wants tradition followed because the next Secretary General is "supposed" to come from Asia. I don't think it really matters who the next Secretary General is because the UN is a worthless organization.
