Israel Update

AP News Alert:
JERUSALEM (AP) A senior Israeli government official says Israel would agree to a cease-fire if Hezbollah withdraws from the border area and releases two captured soldiers.
This will not happen until Hezbollah is nearly defeated and at that point Israel, and the rest of the world, would be better off with Hezbollah exterminated.

UPDATE (1:00PM): AP News Alert:
JERUSALEM (AP) The Israeli miltary says an airstrike in Lebanon has destroyed a long-range Iranian missile capable of reaching Tel Aviv.
This is significant if it can be independently verified. It is no real secret that this is a proxy war for Iran.
