Israel Update

AP News Alert:
JERUSALEM (AP) Prime Minister Ehud Olmert says Israel is not in a hurry to agree to a cease-fire in Lebanon until it achieves its goals.
This is the best thing I've heard out of Israel since the start of this operation. I'd like to hear continual re-statements of what Israel's goals are so that the media won't screw it up... The goal is to stop the attacks on Israel by Hezbollah and other Islamofascist groups. Making nice nice doesn't seem to have been an effective strategery...mainly because all these people understand is the application of raw power...there is no reason to go back to playing nice nice until the enemy has been defeated. The time for nice nice is AFTER the war has been won.
