DeWine Disappoints...Again

I'll save the McCain stuff for Mark, who called me in a fit of rage when he heard what the darling of the leftist media had to say, but I will not let this piece of DeWine nonsense go without comment (AP via MyWay):
DeWine said Congress would not have had the chance to authorize the war if the intelligence on Iraq's military capability and intentions were accurate.

"It would never have come up for a vote so it would have been an entirely different situation," he said.
Perhaps if Mr. DeWine would exercise some Congressional oversight on intelligence, he'd have known that our intelligence apparatus was broken. Hell, 9/11 should have taught him that. DeWine sits on the Senate Select Intelligence Committee...shouldn't he have known what the situation was? I would certainly have hoped so... So what is this? More passing the buck from the master of buck passing...

Thank God his opponent is uber-liberal Sherrod Brown, otherwise the Republicans would be in much worse shape and at even more risk than they already are of losing this seat.
