Some of the reason we are facing this danger is because of the failed policies of the Bush administration, and I regret deeply their failure to deal with the threat posed by North Korea, and I hope that the administration will now adopt a much more effective response than what they have up until now.
Ummm, she who would be Madam President, who negotiated the deal with North Korea? Who signed the deal with North Korea, basically delivering nukes to them? Who sent Jimmy Carter to get stroked by Kim Jong Il, and who sent Maddy Albright to turn Kim Jong il on? It wasn't the present administration.
See, Christine, this is why we continue to bring up Bill Clinton. Rather than say, 'you know what, the US as a whole failed to realize we were being snookered at the time and we are sorry and we need to unite on this issue,' HillRod and her cronies are blaming Bush and Conservatives. If you are going to try to rewrite history, then people who respect truth and history are going to straighten the record out. If they would just quit trying to rewrite history into the Clinton Admin as some type of Golden Age, people would quit bringing up Bubba. However, they can't let it go. Hillrod and Bubba cannot let it go, so it keeps coming back.
Here's the funny thing. Bill Clinton, in another unsubstantiated claim, in 2002 at a speech in the Netherlands said he had 'secret plans' (like the democrat plan for victory in the war on terror, cricket, cricket) for bombing North Korea drawn up but never got around to doing anything about it....maybe playing too much with Monica, or perhaps chasing and beating up Juanita Broderick? Clinton trying to play CYA but all it highlights is that his eye was never on the ball when it came to foreign relations with Iraq or North Korea.
