North Korea's claimed test of a nuclear weapon may be only the tip of a frightening scenario. The country has shown itself to be a virtual bazaar for spreading missiles, conventional weapons and nuclear technology around the globe, according to U.S. officials and other experts, who say Pyongyang has sold military goods to at least 18 countries, mostly in Africa and the Middle East.
That's a good indication, officials warn, that North Korea might sell nuclear weapons if doing so would bring funds to the impoverished communist state.
North Korea's catalog has included ballistic missiles, conventional weapons and nuclear technology. It's also possible, the officials said, that the government has sold components that could be part of biological or chemical munitions.
Well, Kim will be happy to know that his patrons Russia and China took care of his flea market's needs. We watered down on draft so Lil Kim can still sell weapons, just not big ones:(from today's earlier Post from the AP)
The Americans also eliminated a complete ban on the sale of conventional weapons; instead, the resolution limits the embargo to major hardware such as tanks, warships, combat aircraft and missiles.
