Drum Corps Memories

I've been trading emails with another former member of the Limited Edition Drum and Bugle Corps this morning and decided to take a look around the internet to see what I could find. I found this little gem from the percussion break of the 1989 show (the year I marched) and thought I'd share it with you...

I had bought a copy of VHS tapes for the entire top 25 that year, but unfortunately they didn't stand up to the test of time... It is great to see some of my old friends in uniform one more time. I'd love to see more of the '89 show...

The music that year was from Carl Orff's Carmina Burana...our show was entitled The Gods...we took a movement of the Orff and matched it with a mythical god. It was a great high concept...and we sure had a blast performing it.

Here is the percussion break from the '91 show that is also on YouTube...

I had left the corps by this time, but still had a few friends who had stayed with LE through all of the "changes"...

Great memories of great times...
