Ken Mehlman got it. Bob Bennett didn't.
Bob Taft has an ego the size of Texas. So does Bob Bennett.
Heck, even Bob Ney got out...
...but not Bob Bennett.
If Bennett does indeed have the votes on the State Central Committee (and I'm pretty sure he does), that just goes to show that the Ohio GOP failed to learn the lessons of the last election cycle and we'll be doomed to repeat them at least once more (and let us hope that we get our act together by '08).
Someone at the Ohio GOP needs to admit their mistakes. I haven't seen anything but fingerpointing and the usual round of excuses...
Let's fix this. I'm open to suggestion...if we're going to keep Bennett, what are we going to do differently? That's what I want to know. If you know the answer, feel free to leave a comment or email me.
