Tom Blumer of BizzyBlog mentioned this on the Monday night radio show and has now posted on it. However, he understated one point that we talked about at some length on the show: Jean Schmidt took the conservative position and voted against the bill. The fact that she was one of only three in the Ohio delegation (of course, my guy, John Boehner, got it right) is significant and worth highlighting. Will the Jean Schmidt detractors notice this very conservative vote? Or will they ignore it because they, like the 527 media they claim to despise so much, ignore it because it doesn't fit their template and agenda? I'm expecting the later...
I've given Jean Schmidt some grief over the minimum wage vote, now I give her props for getting it right on this one.
