I've been listening to a LOT of radio dramas from this series of collections at work this week. They have been very enjoyable. Yesterday I finished up the 20-disk set of espionage shows and loved them. Today I started a ten-disk set of Sherlock Holmes shows of the "lost" spisodes from the 1948-1949 season. After this I've got another 20-disk set of detective shows. And I've been listening to a 2-disk set of the first twelve Superman radio episodes too...
Why has a Wide Awakes Radio talk show host spent so much time listening to old time radio shows? Well, the TIB Network will be presenting brand new radio drama series on Wide Awakes Radio and I'm getting familiar with the best that the genre has produced. Scripts are in the works for a historical piece on the Revolutionary War centered on Henry Knox and a number of other projects are in the works as well. Stay tuned!
