
I really HATE agreeing with Sen. Levin, but it is a bit disturbing that the guy coming in hasn't been fully briefed on the what troop levels will be coming and going based on the situation on the ground in Iraq.
And I'm not exactly thrilled with Fallon's tone in suggesting that "new and different actions" need be taken without suggesting a plan of his own while at the same time saying that it is time to "redefine the goals" in Iraq. These are not the words of a strategy for victory...
Perhaps some context will shed some light on these subjects, because I suspect a certain amount of media bias in the reporting of these comments...
