BizzyBlog points out a number of disappointing votes cast by Republicans who should know better including (but not limited to - see Bizzy for the full list) some of Ohio's own: Jean Schmidt, Mike Turner, Deb Pryce, and Steve LaTourette. This was pretty much the first stumble for Schmidt on the fiscal conservativism front (at least in her time in the US Congress), but I am not surprised that the others are on this list. Turner, especially, has been a personal disappointment because he was a great mayor of Dayton when I lived there.
