I’ll betcha Fred Thompson’s people even paid attention to the Ohio county’s straw poll.I think the McCain and Guiliani people are pretty solid until Thompson gets in the race. At that point, we'll see who really digs Rudy and McCain and who is just going along until a viable conservative candidate commits to running.
That Romney took a kicking should scare the bejesus out of the Governor though... I suspect that Romney has peaked and has nowhere else to look but down. But it is awfully early for these sorts of predictions and these straw polls are even more worthless than the 527 media-generated polling.
Ben Keeler had the opportunity to vote in the poll and went with Rudy. Mary Taylor fans should be sure to check out The Keeler Report's coverage... Billy Valentine went for Brownback... I'm sure other Alliance members were there too...
