AP Reports that Pres. Bush will Veto "Pork and Run" Bill

AP News Alert:

WASHINGTON (AP) President Bush says the Democrats' war spending bill that sets a timetable for withdrawing troops from Iraq is simply a political statement and he will veto it.

Democrats knew that this bill was unacceptable and went ahead and wasted the time putting it together anyway. Meanwhile, our troops in a war zone are not getting the funding that they need... If Democrats don't want to fund the troops, they should just go ahead and say so.
