WASHINGTON, May 15 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Former presidential candidate Gary L. Bauer mourned the passing of the Rev. Dr. Jerry Falwell on Tuesday, calling him, "a man of vision who united people of faith."
Bauer, president of American Values, made the following statement: "I am heart broken by the sad news of Dr. Falwell's passing. He has meant a great deal to men and women of faith, and was a special leader whose political involvement led to the election of several presidents, including one whom I worked for, Ronald Reagan. He leaves a tremendous legacy in Liberty University and law school and at the Thomas Road Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed."
