Mike DeWine Has a New Job

From the Cincinnati Enquirer:
Former U.S. Sen. Mike DeWine will join Keating, Muething & Klekamp to help establish a corporate investigations practice at the downtown law firm.

DeWine, 60, will help KMK conduct internal investigations for big companies that need an independent outside investigation. He will continue to live in Cedarville and continue to teach government and political science classes at Miami University and Cedarville College, as he has done since January.

He has been out of government service since he lost the Senate race in November to Democrat Sherrod Brown. He made it clear that he is not interested in lobbying former legislative colleagues.

"For me this is a great opportunity," DeWine said. "My experience not only as a prosecutor but as a member of the Judiciary Committee makes this a good fit."
Let's hope he likes it well enough that he decides to stay off Ohio's ballots...
