Update on Kentucky's Version of Bob Taft

From the Louisville Courier-Journal:

Republican gubernatorial candidate Anne Northup pressed her attack on Gov. Ernie Fletcher during a televised debate tonight, accusing him of "not having a personal ethical standard."

Even candidate Billy Harper, who has shied away from attacking Fletcher, criticized the fact that Fletcher has accepted contributions to his legal defense fund and hasn't released the names of the donors.

During the candidates' second debate on Kentucky Educational Television, Fletcher tried to divert attention from Northup's focus on ethical issues and talked about his record in office with claims that he increased funding for education, built roads and cut taxes for most people.

It is hard to remember Paul Patton's offenses after the Fletcher administration's blunders...
