Dover, Ohio (June 21, 2007)—The Tuscarawas County Republican Party has announced plans for their annual steak fry. The event will take place on Wednesday, July 18th at the Tuscora Park Pavilion in New Philadelphia . A social will begin at 6pm and dinner will be served at 6:30pm.

At the steak fry, the announced Republican candidates running for the 18th Congressional District will each be given 5 minutes to introduce themselves to the voters of Tuscarawas County—the largest county in the 18th Congressional District. Mike Carey of Licking County, Paul Phillips of Ross County, Jeanette Moll of Muskingum County, and Fred Dailey of Knox County are the announced candidates who have confirmed they will be in attendance.

Chairman Doug Wills commented, “2008 promises to be a challenging election year, and it is no secret that the 18th Congressional District will be a targeted race, and we as Republicans are fortunate to have a wonderful field of candidates. This event will help us make a more informed decision at the ballot box next March as we vote for our Republican nominee.”

Tickets for the event are $25 and can be purchased by contacting Republican headquarters at 343-6131.
