The beating of Marc Dann continues on... This time LegalNewsLine's John O'Brien calls on CWRU political science professor Alexander Lamis to come to the conclusion that Dann is the poster boy for Democratic incompetence in the state of Ohio.Quoth Lamis:
"They're targeting a Democrat," said Alexander Lamis, a political science professor at Case Western Reserve University. "And if they can spread the impression that any of these new Democratic leaders in statewide office has faltered, then that is going to help them in 2008 and 2010, as well. So it's not too early."
Quoth O'Brien:
Dann is being portrayed as the poster boy for Democratic incompetence.Both are right. Dann has been a disaster and the Ohio GOP is right to highlight his blunders. Wouldn't it be nice to have the 527 media in this state on board?
