Strickland Update

Taxin' Ted wants broadband internet access in all 88 counties of Ohio. He's even ordered up an Ohio Broadband Council and Broadband Ohio Network. What's missing? The missing element to the story is who is going to pay for all of this technolgical marvelousness. The answer, of course, is you and me.

Meanwhile, back at the governor's mansion, Strickland has signed off on yet another temporary reprieve for a convicted killer on death row. 25 years ago, John Spirko kidnapped and later killed Betty Jane Mottinger who was the Van Wert postmaster. Strickland seems to think that DNA testing might save this scum from a lethal injection.

And lastly, Governor Taps Thompson Hine Partner for Venture Capital Board. Tom Zych donated $1250 to Sherrod Brown in the last cycle and has donated to Democrats John Kerry and Eric Fingerhut as well as DNC Services.
