That gives "light this candle" a whole new meaning...or something.

  • Mark Naymik writes an article on a proposal for healthcare coverage for every Ohioan. It is expensive and has no confirmed backing from either Speaker Husted or Governor Strickland.

  • This one just hit my e-mailbag even though the article is actually kind of old... Rawnica Dillingham gets a nice write-up in the Dayton Daily News.

  • Good news for the Second (or Sixth? - not sure where exactly this proposed site is) District...Russian steel mill may be adding some jobs to Scioto County.

  • The New York Post has a MUST READ article on the war and the American people. What does it say? That people like Rush Limbaugh and Mark and I are right...the surge is working and that there has been a remarkable shift in popular opinion about the war and how its going. Democrats running for president are hoping for the worst again just as things are starting to turn around in Iraq.

  • Mark's Remarks

It is like I have said from the beginning--how sad and pathetic to wake up every morning looking for news of more American soldiers killed, higher poverty, more unemployment and hoping to find news of a great depression. How sad and pathetic to, like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, to delight in killing aid to troop bills, killing reforms to social security, all for the sake of scoring points with people who most likely don't vote or vote illegally anyway.
