Paul Phillips for Congress (OH-18) Launches Website

CHILLICOTHE—In an effort to bring his campaign to the homes of every voter in the 18th Congressional District and to outline his vision for Ohio, Paul Phillips launched his official campaign website www.paulphillipsforcongress.com last night.

“As I have been traveling around the district meeting with voters, I have been overwhelmed by their positive reception. People are excited about my vision for this district. As a fourth generation native of our district I have a deep understanding of the problems facing our communities.”

“To me this campaign comes down to two fundamental principals; prosperity and security. As a 20-year veteran of the United States Air Force serving as a B-1 Bomber Pilot I know what it takes to keep our families and borders secure. Additionally, my background in the defense industry and experience as an aerospace engineer give me a unique prospective for bringing high tech, good paying quality jobs to our area”

Paul turned his ROTC Scholarship to Ohio State University into a 20-year decorated career as a B-1 Bomber Pilot. He is a graduate of Air War College, Joint Forces Staff College, and Air Command and Staff College. Highlights of his career include being voted the “Top B-1 Bomber Instructor Pilot” at both the Primary Training School and the Elite USAF Weapons School. In 1999, Paul was hand-picked for a position as the Chief of Plans for the Counterproliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction, at Headquarters United States European Command in Stuttgart, Germany. In 2004, he served as a Lieutenant Colonel in Operation Iraqi Freedom as the Lead Air Strategist at the Combined Air Operations Center in the Middle East.

Upon his retirement from the Air Force Paul returned with his family to Chillicothe where he took over his father’s law practice, Phillips and Bugg. Paul earned his Masters Degree from Abilene Christian University and a Law Degree from Regent University.

Paul filed his statement of candidacy on May 8th, 2007 and has since been meeting with local leaders and community activists across the 18th Congressional District.
The site looks pretty good. I assume more content will be released to the web as we go, but there isn't much there right now...
