Mark's Bottom Line On SCHIP

Look, folks, there is a lot of disinformation out there about SCHIP. Dems and the MSM talk about Bush wanting to cut the program. Not true. This is not a new program. It has been around for 10 years. It is up for renewal. The Dems want to dramatically increase spending, make more people dependent on the government teat. That is what they want. There is no cut. In fact, President Bush has said he wants to increase funding, just not to the radical extent the Dems want. Don't fall for the hype. This expansion is a bad idea, that will lead to more cycles of dependence and perpetual poverty created, and more taxes. And, that, My friends, is the bottom line...of course, you can continue to read about why Republicans are mean because they think people who are 18-25 should pay for their insurance, and how Republicans are mean because they don't want people making over 60,000 a year on the government dole. If you want to do that, you could waste your time reading the liberal bloggers at Wide Open.
