LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) Democrat Steve Beshear has won the Kentucky governor's race, defeating Gov. Ernie Fletcher.This is what would have happened in Ohio if Taft had run again. Or Jim Petro. Or Betty Montgomery. My point is this: when the central issue of the campaign is "culture of corruption", the GOP loses; and will continue to lose until knuckleheads like Ernie Fletcher are thrown out of the party when they engage in bad behavior.

In what is now becoming a routine occurrence in Ohio Republican primaries, the candidate opposed by the Club for Growth wins.This race got unneccessarily silly...let's hope that there wasn't sufficient damage done that we end up losing the seat.
For candidates, remember this the next time you get all happy about all the money the CfG is helping you with. If pushed I probably would have ended up voting for Buehrer, but both of these guys seem conservative enough for me from this distance.
UTAH VOUCHERS DOWN IN FLAMES. It looks like Utah has choosen not be a pro-choice state.
