Matt and I would like to thank everyone who voted for us in the Weblog Awards. We were shocked to even be nominated, and also honored that someone or someones would think so much of us to nominate us. We are thankful for those of you who voted, and are so happy to have finished 6th, or as we say, leading the 2nd tier of the category. We more than surpassed our goal of not finishing last and it is thanks to you, the readers, that this happened. Thanks to BizzyBlog and others who advertised for us and asked for your vote. We can only hope we can duplicate this performance next year, or even better, improve upon it if we are so nominated again.
In blogging news, I am on a Mac that does not like blogger's linking tool today, so the links for articles are listed in their entirety and you will have to copy and paste into your browser til Matt fixes them.
Speaking of Matt, he will be out most of the morning and early afternoon. He has the solemn honor of playing "Taps" at the funeral of an active duty serviceperson today. I am sure he will write about it later. And just a reminder, fix those links, Matt.
