Marc Dann's Top Assistant Quits; More Money Down the Drain

Impact News reports:
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann's office announced that a top assistant has resigned.

Thirty-three-year-old Brian Laliberte defended the state in court over its method of executing death row inmates. He announced Thursday that he's decided to return to private law practice effective January 9th.

In July, Laliberte received a $3,700 home security system at state expense after he said he received a telephone threat. The Ohio Highway Patrol investigated and arranged to begin capturing incoming phone numbers to Laliberte's telephones.

A replacement for Laliberte wasn't announced.
Emphasis added.

Threats should be taken seriously, but I think there is an argument here that overreaction is a mistake too.

Marc Dann has had a ROUGH go of it in Year One...but, he's been entertaining...
