Around The District
The last two weeks have been very busy for Jeanette as she has campaigned in nearly every corner of the district. From the south Zanesville Holiday Parade to meetings and a parade in Knox County to the Cambridge Holiday Parade to Jill Thompson's announcement for the Ohio House in Athens, Jeanette has been working hard. She continues to earn endorsements, raise money and reach out to officeholders and voters across the district.
Jeanette received special attention for a press release pointing out that on the day she was campaigning in Athens County, Zack Space was on his trip to Athens, Greece - a trip he attempted to charge to the American taxpayers before media pressure forced him to reverse course. Here's what Jeanette had to say:
"Zack Space doesn't seem to understand that his constituents expect their member of Congress to focus on the concerns of people in Athens, Ohio - not Athens, Greece."
Jeanette continued -
"I'm running to replace Zack Space because - especially after the scandals and troubles our district saw in 2006 - we need a leader who will serve with integrity. This latest scandal shows that Zack Space is ethically-challenged."

Why Support Jeanette?
Over the course of the campaign, we will use this space to highlight an issue of particular importance.
Health care is a major issue to my family and nearly every family I meet on the campaign trail. Why isn't it a priority in Washington? Three reasons: 1. It's a complex problem backed by strong lobbyists; 2. members of Congress - on both sides of the aisle - often seem more concerned with getting elected than solving problems; and 3. members of Congress get the finest premium health care coverage available.
It's a constant concern for my family, seniors and families with small children - and it should be of concern to members of Congress. When I go to Washington I'll work on this issue. In the meantime, as long as most people here in the district can't afford health care coverage for themselves, I won't make them pay for mine.
How you can help
Three great ideas for you to help Jeanette Moll win the race for Congress:
1. Volunteer to walk in a parade with the campaign.
2. Consider a donation of $100, $50 or $25 to help Jeanette take her conservative message to the district.
3. Organize a house party for 25 friends to meet Jeanette.
