Miller appears to be a strong fiscal conservative emphasizing smaller government. Schuring has similar credentials but also has an impressive list of endorsements from the Republican establishment. Neither have a statement on Iraq or the War on Terror that I could find...
I'm just getting to know these guys and I don't really have a favorite yet, but I certainly recommend our readers examine the records of both of these gentlemen and let your support be known. Whomever wins the seat is going to need some financial support as the Democrats have already targetted this seat as one they want. Political writer Chris Cizzilla ranked this seat #5 on his list of most likely to switch hands.
