Item: I suspect that we are about to see a clean sweep for Jean Schmidt when it comes to county party endorsements with Warren and Pike sitting on the sidelines watching the carnage. Hamilton county is set to make their endorsements soon and with the after effects of Phil Heimlich's letter fiasco (referenced here), rumor has it that Rep. Schmidt may just pick up another unanimous endorsement. Prediction: rumors are rumors for a reason and I fully expect that when it happens, we'll hear about "the fix" from all the usual suspects...

Item: Tom Brinkman can't be found with a search warrant. Is he actually using Jean Schmidt's special election strategy and hoping that by sitting back, he can cruise to victory? One problem that I see with that is there was no incumbent in the race back in the day and these are very different times.
Prediction: It will be reported that Tom Brinkman was kidnapped by the aliens that Dennis Kucinich saw back in the day...

1/16 UPDATE: Even better, let's also predict that it will be revealed that Jean Schmidt was the mastmind behind the "deal" in Hamilton County that left the citizens without a real choice in virtually every other race BUT the Congressional race. Yeah, that's the ticket!
