Anyway...
An observation from a younger, liberal co-worker who I think represents her demographic fairly well... She seems to think that McCain can beat any of the Democrats still in the race including Obama.
That used to be my reason for having Rudy as my backup for The Fred...so he's got that going for him...which is nice.
Still, the guy irks movement conservatives and he doesn't appear all that willing or capable of repairing his relationship with people whose vote he is going to need in order to win.
So much for voting for somebody rather than against somebody else... Whatchagonnado?
UPDATE: If McCain were to pick an acceptable conservative as his Veep, it MIGHT help his cause. Will he do that? Probably not. I can see him picking Huckabee or some other liberal "Republican"...and as we were discussing on the Alliance email list, Mike DeWine is bound to be on the short list for Attorney General... I can't tell you how enthused that makes me to vote for McCain...
UPDATE 2: EXCLUSIVE MUST CREDIT DRUDGE REPORT UPDATE:
LIMBAUGH DOES NOT CONCEDE, VOWS TO FIGHT ON... DEVELOPING...In other news, the sky is blue...
UPDATE 3: What he said...
UPDATE 4: I just realized what that disturbance in the Force is that I have been feeling lately... Prior to last night, the last time I felt the disturbance in the Force was the night of the South Carolina GOP primary... And both nights felt EXACTLY like May 2, 2006...when I watched a US Senate seat vanish from the GOP column.
UPDATE 5: Well, now, this is some good news...
