Our Carnival of Ohio Politics buddy Jill reminds us that back in the day, a Republican endorsed another Republican for governor of the Great State of Ohio and actually (GASP!) helped him raise some money. That Republican was John (GASP!) McCain...and as I recall, that was probably about the time that the guy in the lookout's nest called the bridge of the Titanic to warn of an iceberg ahead...Let me check WMD's Wayback Machine...just a moment...
Yeah, here we go... Blackwell says that McCain can't win the primary... So, that was a political marriage of convenience that didn't work out so well for either candidate...

Jill is just doing what all liberals are doing, stumping for McCain with conservatives so he can be the nominee and get beat by her party's darlings. She, along with the mainstream media, are trying to create so much dissention within the party that they are trying to make McCain sound conservative, which seems hollow to most of us, and thereby get us to like him less when the general comes so their little Stalin or Stalinista will cruise to victory.
