During the dinner, Hillsboro Auditor Gary Lewis was honored as the "Highland County Republican of the Year," and was awarded a plaque for his dedication to the people and his ongoing enthusiasm for Republican principles.
"Our honoree tonight can be described by several words, including kind, caring, informed, and dedicated," said Dianne Fawley, who presented the award. "Gary Lewis is truly a great Republican."
