WMD Blast: More Than Kay Rogers News Edition

  • And now, something completely different: a positive story out of Butler County! Amber Ellis, brave reporterette from the Cincinnati Enquirer, files this story on a new bridge construction project that should boost the economy of Trenton. (Bonus: Chuck Furmon is quoted. Which gives me another chance to remind folks that Furmon, the WMD-endorsed candidate, actually understands community development and how infrastructure relates to the overall economy of the area. I'm sure Rawnica has a conspiracy theory for that...)

  • Color me shocked! I actually agree with John Rabenold on an issue: Gambling. Read all three Republican candidates' (35th Ohio House) views on the subject in this Community Press story.

  • Could this be Obama's "Lambert Field" moment? It just might be...

  • Business Courier - "Poll: Strickland, Brown, Voinovich ratings down" - Reality is finally starting to hit Governor Teflon... Sherrod Brown only got elected because he was squared off against Mike DeWine. And George RINOvich has to contend with Ham Sandwich, who has internal polls showing that Ham beats the Crying Man 75% to 25%...

  • Nasty, Brutish and Short: "John McCain Comes to Southern Ohio to Make Peace with Conservatives, and Promptly Throws Bill Cunningham Under the Campaign Bus" - These sorts of rallies need people like Willie...otherwise, they turn in to a big snooze-fest with political geeks and the politicans who love them. Dissing Willie like this is not a good move... I've complained before that Republicans haven't sepnt enough time in southwestern Ohio...maybe in McCain's case, he ought to stay out of sight and out of mind.
