COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (AP) Aide says science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke has died in Sri Lanka at the age of 90.The 2001 series was very influential on me as I loved them and read them cover to cover many, many times. The guy was a giant. He will be missed.
