WMD commenter "Joppy", in this thread, says, "Read the actual complaints which are presently online. It is clear that MD was having an affair with Stankoski. WHERE IS THIS STORY????" That got me thinking... So, I went over to the Youngstown Vindicator's super site on All Things Marc Dann and checked out both of the complaints (Cindy's and Vanessa's).Cindy's complaint is pretty much entirely about Anthony Gutierrez and has been the subject of most of the media stories thus far. Vanessa's complaint starts off with this bombshell:
Was transferred. Tony [Gutierrez] said b/c Marc Dann said only got a job because slept w. Vanessa. Transferred. Heard from ppl in IT that moved b/c had sex with [Marc E. Dann] & Alyssa didn't want in bldg. Lived across from [Gutierrez, Leo Jennings and formerlly Dann](moved out). Nothing happened with [Gutierrez] or [Marc Dann]. [Gutierrez] told everything.So let me break that down...
According to Vanessa Stout, the rumor that was floated regarding her transfer was that she had sex with Marc Dann. She is NOT saying that anything actually happened with either Dann or Tony Gutierrez. In fact, in the second to last sentence in the excerpt above, she makes that very clear.
What isn't clear to me at all is what sort of relationship Marc Dann did actually have with Vanessa Stout. Here is an excerpt from page 3 of 4:
At All Hands mtg [Marc Dann] saw [Vanessa] & choked up. Last wk, walked behind [Marc Dann], he was faced towards office, he turned & saw her & stumbled, with a guy who tried to hold the door for her; real awkward.Is Marc Dann just a klutz or are we to read more in to this?
And what are we to make of this item on page 4 of 4:
When training when first started, [Marc Dann] 'plowed' through crowd to shake hand.I'm pretty sure that is a hanging offense...
Do I think Marc Dann is a scumbag? Sure. Mainly because he has surrounded himself with some of vilest people possible. Do I think he has engaged in extra-marital bliss? I'm not seeing hard evidence in either complaint. Maybe I missed something, but I sure am not seeing anything to implicate Marc Dann yet. Furthermore, there is more evidence that there was some kind of relationnship with Vanessa Stout than there is with Cindy Stankoski. Perhaps "Joppy" will come back and shed some more light on the situation...
