Earlier today on WMD, I wrote a bit on the latest developments in Butler County's FBI probe of All Things Dynus and More. There was a quote from intrepid reporter Josh Sweigart's piece on the subject that caught some attention:Keller said he contacted the county for the 2003 contract, and his company was picked out of a telephone book at random for the 2004 cleanup.I've started asking around to find out if this process is common in Butler county and I have already heard back from one in-the-know type of source who says:
I can assure you we don't choose our large dollar vendors out of the phone book.That is very reassuring!
