Lest you think that this is yet another rant on the Democratic Party or our Republican friends, let be completely frank and up front. Hollywood has officially run out of ideas and if you thought they had gone to the well before, look out for the disaster that is to come.Yes, my friends, Hollywood is thinking about redoing a CLASSIC... The are going to destroy Red Dawn.
My money is on the remake casting the Americans as the bad guys. We'll see two versions of the film; each side gets its chance at agitprop. The Soviet version (or will they update the film to give the Islamofascists their due?) will win an Academy Award while the "American" verision will tank because it will be unpatriotic crap.
I'm beginning to think Jay and Silent Bob were right...Hollywood DID have it coming.
