Tomorrow, Wednesday, June 4, the Home Ownership Center of Greater Cincinnati will host a Foreclosure Phone-a-thon from 6 am to 8 pm for at-risk homeowners. Many homeowners facing foreclosure are frustrated and may not know where to turn for help. Early intervention and communication is the key. The Foreclosure Phone-a-thon will give homeowners in trouble a chance to learn about options available to them in a private manner.
If you are facing foreclosure or know someone who is, help is available through 877-7BUZZ-US (877-728-9987). Or, visit the Buzz Us website. When you call, please have your lender’s name and loan number on-hand.
The phone-a-thon is sponsored by The Home Ownership Center of Greater Cincinnati, the City of Hamilton and the City of Oxford.
If you face the risk of foreclosure, or are currently behind on your mortgage payments, there are resources available to help you stay in your home. I encourage you to contact your lender as soon as you anticipate difficulty making your mortgage payments, and/or use available government resources. I’ve listed three resources on my website that you may find useful. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
