Stark County: Blogger Shenanigans in Sheriff's Race

One of the biggest dangers of political blogging is that there is, from time to time, the temptation to just manufacture something out of thin air. I don't know for sure, maybe Martin Olson got a bad tip or something, but I can tell you this much: contrary to what Mr. Olson, an "independent" who has run for office many times as a Democrat and donated to Democrat candidates, says on his blog the Stark County Republican Party has not put a poll in the field let alone gotten absurd numbers like 70%-30% for the Democrat.

Mr. Olson, show me evidence of this poll. Otherwise, I'm calling Bull$#|+...

UPDATE: I went through the old Swanson finance reports. In 2004,
the supposedly neutral Martin Olson ran for state rep in the 50th district. Who do you think made a contribution to Olson? If you guessed Tim Swanson, then you are a winner! Apparently, the way to get in the good graces of the Stark County Political Report is to donate to one of Olson's many failed electoral bids. And for the grand total of $150 too...
